If you are sending a photograph be sure to include all the information I need to know to complete the portrait. For example:

• Clearly identify which adult(s) and/or child (children) are to be painted.
• What sort of size had you in mind?
• Do you want a figure in setting or just a head and shoulders?
• Tell me a bit about the person(s) if you like. It always helps.
• Is there anything else I need to know? For example is the portrait to mark an occasion such as a wedding, an engagement or a christening? If it's a wedding do you want the bride or the bride and groom included?
