Portrait Fees

Unless you would like to commission a portrait that is particularly large (>1m in either dimension) the full cost is £450 (US $675).  This includes framing and postage.

I take a deposit of £100 ($150 US) in advance.  If you live outside the UK my preferred method of payment is Paypal, but if you don’t have a Paypal account then I am happy for you to arrange a bank transfer at no extra cost.

Once the portrait commission is completed I will send you a photograph of the finished work and invoice you for the remainder.  A finished portrait in oils requires time to dry and then has to go to my framers so it may be several weeks before it is ready for you.  With the above in mind, the painting is dispatched as soon as reasonably possible after I have received your payment.

For those living in the South East of England who would like me to come and take the photograph for them I charge 25p per mile.
